I still get a lot of hits on my old free pattern and I'll be happy to answer all the questions, but often you guys don't leave me an email address.
Just got a message from Hannah who gave me her AIM contact, but I don't use AIM messenger.
So this message is for you, Hannah and all the other interested visitors of my blog.
A wealth of good patterns can be found here:
Hope that helps, let me know how you like this suggestion. As an
organic crocheter I have a hard time writing crochet instructions
for others and I don't sell patterns for that reason, only finished
crochet items.

First time visit here, love your hats, I'm a hat maker too. I go to a local market and sell them (health and weather issues some times prevent this and it is seasonal), but I write and post my patterns for free, the internet has given me so much, it is my way of giving back, glad to have made a visit to your blog :) Cheers Cat.
I am looking for a beanie pattern that does not go in a spiral. I had one years ago that instead of going around it was crocheted up and down. Something like single crocheting one row, turning and then crocheting only part of the next row, turning again and crocheting back to the start. repeat. Does this make any sense? do you have a pattern like that.
